Hansen Gets Caught
Mary Chapin Carpenter quoted, “Sometimes you’re the windshield/Sometimes you’re the bug.”
The now well known predator catcher Chris Hansen from “Dateline NBC” has made a great name for himself by luring in unsuspecting kid perverts into suburban homes. He is so popular that “Saturday Night Live” has even made him into a sketch on their show.
Well folks, now the “jokes” on Hansen.
Looking for another stab at the Pulitzer, the National Enquirer tracked Hansen down with hidden cameras and found him in an awkward situation. The married Hansen was caught in his own sex scandal. He was caught with a very sexy blonde Florida lady much younger than himself. But don’t worry folks, she was not a minor.
Sources tell that for nearly four months the 51-year old father of two boys has been having an affair behind his wife Mary’s back. The lady at the center of the scandal is Kristyn Caddell who is a news anchor at NBC’s West Palm Beach affiliate. The story just became breaking news as the lead story on the ABC, Fox and CBS affiliates in West Palm Beach.
Hansen who lives in Connecticut has been spending a lot of time in South Florida while investigating a missing boater. His thorough investigation brought Ms. Caddell to Hansen’s room while he also visited her apartment.
People are asking what Chris is doing there and why he has a pack of condoms and a six pack of beer. Needless to say they are aligning this mishap with words from his popular “Dateline NBC” show.

Next Freeway Idol!
Freeway Idol is no longer a secret…the word is out. Cleveland’s own version of the hit television show includes local singers with $6,500 in cash as a prize.
Glenn Gable, Freeway Lanes Bowling Group CEO created this Karaoke contest so he could help promote local talent.
“The road to stardom is often paved with boulders – it’s tough, even for the most gifted performers. With the contest and prize money, we want to help them hit the pavement running,” Gable said.
The qualifying contests start the week of July 18 at all four Freeway Lanes in Mentor, Solon, Parma and Wickliffe. Gable reports that registrations are coming in very fast. He urges anyone who wants a chance to sing to sign up. Only 25 contestants will get to perform at a location. On the final night which is August 26th, Freeway twenty semi-finalists which are the winners from each week at the Freeway Lanes will sing in Solon for a top prize of $3,000. Second, third and fourth place prizes are $2,000, $1,000 and $500 respectively. This is sure to be a load of fun and very entertaining. There may even be some surprises as local talent is coming out of the woodwork for a chance to compete.

Kim Kardashian’s Butt
How far will Kim Kardashian go to prove there are no implants in that enormous butt of hers? We will find out tonight on Keeping up with the Kardashians where the reality star actually gets it x-rayed. Many fans and even other celebrities have pondered if she may have had some type of surgical implants but she is out to prove them wrong.
This doesn’t dispel the other rumor going around that she may have had a Brazilian Buttock lift. In this procedure actual fat cells are taken from various areas of the body and moved to the buttocks area.
Several medical experts have recent given their opinion on the subject. Here is what Dr. Drew Ordon said,
Dr. Drew Ordon explains, “With our dear friend Kim and her x-ray, clearly there was no prosthesis, there is not a butt implant, but with the classical Brazilian butt lift, yes, you’re using your own fat which you’re taking from one part of the body which you’ve gotten from liposuction and putting it in another part of the body. And on x-ray you would not be able to tell if that was done so she may in fact had the classical Brazilian butt lift using her own fat.
But, based on Kim Kardashian’s basic body style/type which is part of her gene makeup, she’s what we call a mesomorph. She’s a big curvaceous woman, she’s zoftig and rubenesque, therefore she just may have gotten those traits genetically. She may have just been born with that butt. These are my comments as a professional.”
And Jescenia Espin, with Coral Gables Cosmetic tell us, “I verified with one of my doctors and no a fat transfer can not be seen in a x-ray. I believe Kim’s butt is real, but if it wasn’t, there will be tiny scars of the incisions in the area where the lipo was done and where the fat was transferred to.”
It is hard to believe that people are literally that interested in this subject but I predict top ratings for tonight’s episode.

Harris Weds Burtka
According to Neil Patrick Harris he and his partner David Burtka have been engaged for a long time. He says they proposed to each other over five years ago, wearing engagement rings and waiting for a chance to make it official to set a date for a ceremony. Harris’ tweets Saturday morning were happy news for gay couples in the New York area.
This couple’s news came on the heels of Americans celebrating the passage of marriage equality in New York. Many couples confirmed their commitments to each other while beginning the 30-day countdown to the day they can say “I Do.” Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka are probably the most famous gay couple among the many happy couples looking to make it official.
Harris and his actor/chef partner Burtka became engaged late Friday night, but have actually been engaged for quite some time now.
Harris tweeted encouraging words to the New York State Senate saying he’d “sure love to get married.” Once the law was passed Burtka tweeted that the two were getting hitched.
Harris also tweeted that his family would really appreciate the passing of the law. When the law passed he tweeted, “It PASSED! Marriage equality in NY!! Yes!! Progress!! Thank you everyone who worked so hard on this!! A historic night!”
Burtka gave their big news to fans via Twitter saying, “I’ve already purposed, he said yes! Thank god!” he wrote, before adding, “he proposed to me as well. I said yes! Thank god!”
The couple are parents to fraternal twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace who were born through a surrogate in October 2010.
Congratulations went out to the happy couple as well as other loving pairs who are now granted equal rights in New York State.

Columbo Dead at 83
For fans of the one of the most beloved fictional detectives Thursday’s news of star of Columbo Peter Falk was sad news. Falk died Thursday night in his Beverly Hills home at the age of 83. The announcement came from Larry Larson who was a longtime friend and is also the lawyer for Mr. Falk’s wife whose name is Shera Danese. In recent years Falk had been treated for Alzheimer’s disease.
Mr. Falk’s career ranged from drama to comedy and included movies and onstage performances. For three and a half decades he played the canny lead on the hit show Columbo. He received nominations for two Oscars. Some of his co-stars include Bette Davis, Jason Robards and Frank Sinatra.
Falk’s character Columbo was a lieutenant for the Los Angeles Police Department and he was a mass of peculiarities and quirks. He seemed distracted in his raincoat always looking for a lighter for his signature stogie.
Mr. Falk had one glass eye which was the result of an operation where he had a cancerous tumor removed when he was a child. The glass eye made all of his characters have a peculiar, curious look, almost like a squint. With a mild speech impediment which made his L’s sound funny when he would introduce himself as Lieutenant Columbo.
Being so eccentric made Columbo a progenitor of characters later on like Tony Shalhoub’s Monk. It also made him appear keen and at most times amusing.
Mr. Falk went to Hamilton College in upstate New York for a brief period. He later dropped out and joined the Merchant Marine as a cook. Later in life he returned to New York City, attended New School for Social Research where he earned a degree in political science. He also attended Syracuse University, earning a public administration master’s degree.

Lohan Back to Court
Arriving 15 minutes early for a court hearing, Lindsay Lohan today was dressed in a button down shirt with black slacks and black shoes. Her blonde hair was pulled back.
Ms. Lohan was ordered to appear before the judge so the judge could determine whether she has once again violated terms of her probation which stem from Ms. Lohan’s 2007 drunk-driving charge. This hearing resulted from Ms. Lohan’s alcohol positive testing, which occurred earlier in June 2011.
Just the consumption of any alcohol will result in Ms. Lohan’s probation being violated. If any judge decides that Ms. Lohan dishonored her probation she will be facing possible jail time.
Lindsay who is now 24 has already seen jail three times within the past three years for charges which include drug possession, DUI and violations of her probation.
Ms. Lohan’s representatives and the representatives for the L.A. District Attorney would not immediately react to ABCNews.com’s comment request regarding the nature of Ms. Lohan’s potential probation violation.
This new hearing is coming just as the problemed Ms. Lohan finishes up her house arrest which she was given for violating her probation when she took a $2,500 necklace out of a Venice, California jewelry store without the store’s permission. She was due to be free from her house arrest on Wednesday.
While her house arrest has Ms. Lohan pinned up in her $2.25 million dollar Venice Beach mansion which is about 3,000 square feet. While under house arrest Ms. Lohan has not been flying under the radar. TMZ.com reported early this week that Ms. Lohan taped a commercial for Beezid.com, an Internet auction site while confined inside her home. Ms. Lohan was offered $25,000 to do the commercial but she turned down the offer, later settling on a $10,000 credit to spend on the site and an undisclosed payment for her appearance in the commercial.
Lohan invited Life & Style magazine inside her home where during their interview Ms. Lohan said in her house she doesn’t keep any alcohol. She continued by saying, “When my friends come over, they’re not drinking,” she said. “Alcohol is not in my house, so it’s just not a part of my life.”
She admitted to being “bummed out” because she was not allowed to go to her little brother’s sweet 16 birthday party due to her house arrest. She is looking forward to beginning her 480 hours of community service that the court mandated as soon as she is released. She says, “I want to finish that so I can work in August and September” — she might not change her club-hopping, late-night partying ways.
“I don’t think you should ever say never,” she said when asked if she’d frequent nightclubs again.

Harry Potter is Going Digital
On Thursday, Author J.K. Rowling announced Pottermore.com, a website where she will be selling Harry Potter e-books and other new material. Rowling said she will sell electronic versions of all seven of her Harry Potter books and this will be a place that fans of the series can come together and socialize together and also with Rowling herself.
There was a ceremony in London on Thursday where the announcement was made. The plan is also explained in a short YouTube video that was released today.
Rowling plans to make Harry Potter e-books available in various languages and they will be able to be read on any electronic reading tool. The store is geared to open in October.
If you don’t want to wait until October you can go ahead and register your email at the Pottermore.com store and you will be contacted as full registration begins at the end of July, which is Harry Potter’s fictional birthday.
Once you are registered you will be able to partake in challenges where 1 million people will be taking part in a beta phase of the website. Winning users will be allowed to suggest improvements to the site according to Bloomsbury Publishing, Rowling’s U.K. publisher.
In a statement Bloomsbury announced it will share in the revenues generated from the site. Rowling owns the rights to the Harry Potter books digital version. Bloomsbury owns the rights to print of the books in the U.S.
Rowling added that Pottermore.com offers social networking tools so that Harry Potter fans can share their stories with their friends. The website will feature an enlarged Sorting Hat which asks site visitors questions so that they can get sorted into Hogwarts houses just like it did with students within her books.
The website will also feature 18,000 new written words about the places, characters and objects from the series of books.
At the London announcement, Rowling said she has been slowly convinced of the value of digitized books.
“E-books are here, and they are here to stay,” she said. “I still love a print-and-paper book, but I think you can enjoy both.”

Emotional Win Serena Williams
After a first-round victory at Wimbledon Serena Williams was in tears, tears like we’ve never ever seen before. She reports that she usually does not cry so she was in shock. Williams told the BBC, “…it’s been so hard, I never dreamt I would be here right now. I just wanted to win at least one match here.”
Serena saw her dream come true as she beat Aravane Rezai 6-3, 3-6, and 6-1. However it was not even close to championship tennis. After being out of the game with a health scare for a year she now knows the value of life. She didn’t care that she didn’t play her best or even very well.
It is known that this is one of the most emotional moments in Serena’s career. She continues, “For me it wasn’t about winning the match. It was about being out there.”
Williams had never lost any first round match during a Grand Slam out of her 44 tries. She has won the title four times before, two of which were the last two years. She has won 13 major titles in total. She has also ranked as the world’s number one player for 123 weeks of her career.
But the last year has been a very tough one for her. While in Germany she cut her foot on broken glass in a restaurant. She ended up having to have to surgeries to repair one tendon. To top it off she has suffered from blood clots in both of her lungs and also a hematoma which she ended up having to have surgery for that as well.
Some fans of tennis have stated that they do not believe that Serena loves tennis or that she doesn’t even care to play tennis when compared to legends before her time. Tennis lovers now believe that this could not be possible. People believed that there was not a reason for Serena to come back to Wimbledon this year so soon after such major surgeries. Serena had to take an injection just before she was able to board her plane.
Serena says, “I love playing tennis”. She didn’t want to sit home and imagine the end of her career as being fabulous.
Some people believe it’s a maybe whether Serena can win Wimbledon. She often served at 117 mph as well as second serves which were 101 mph aces. She had some great forehands as well as some clunkers. Her return of serve lacked timing. When she had to move she was not as responsive as she normally would be.
On the flip side Serena has done worse than this…much worse. Even while performing at her worse she was still able to win.
In 2007 while in Australia no one could imagine her beating anyone. She slowly played her way through the tournament to win the title. She joked that now she is happy and “now I can have a baby.” That was meant to be a joke. She adds, “I haven’t quite accomplished everything.”

Kim and Kris’s Engagement
Newly engaged Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries celebrated with family and friends at a last-minute engagement couple honoring the newlyweds-to-be on Thursday. The couple became engaged in May and was honored by Khloe and Lamar with close to 50 of their family and friends in attendance.
Khloe said, “We obviously move really fast in my family. We’re so crazy busy, and Kris was going back to Minnesota to be with his family.” She continued to say, “On Monday, we realized that Thursday was open,” she explained, “so I was like, ‘Am I really going to throw a party on Thursday?’”
Khloe and her sister Kourtney recruited the help of the same party planner who helped to beautifully orchestrate Khloe’s last-minute wedding to Lamar Odom in 2009, Sharon Sachs. Khloe told Us Weekly, “so I was like, ‘You can put together an engagement party in three days.’”
The party was a huge success, especially given the fact that many of the people at the party were meeting Kris Humphries for the very first time. “Everybody had the best time and got along,” Khloe said. “It was so sweet to see everyone hang out with each other.”
Kim, now 30, along with her fiancé Kris was quite pleased with the entire spotlight on their engagement shindig. The party continued as the Kardashian clan flew to Vegas the next night to celebrate Khloe’s birthday party held at the Sugar Factory.

Ryan Seacrest Chatting
What is the most talked about topic in America right now? Well it’s the upcoming wedding of Kim Kardashian and her NBA fiancé Kris Humphries.
Kim, the 30 year old reality princess appeared on E! News June 20th telling buddy Ryan Seacrest about some of the latest details on her highly anticipated wedding event of the year.
“I am so excited. I have been, you know just pulling tears of dresses that I’ve really admired, women that I’ve seen. I think I would want to do something really classic and old Hollywood,” Kim shared about her dress. “A friend suggested, ‘Pick one feature that you’d want to accentuate — but you can’t accentuate it all. Don’t be your typical, sexy Kim. Do something totally different.’ I still want to be myself, but I want it to be so different.”
Kim has been asked if she’s seen certain dresses which catch her eye. She said there is one she particularly loves. “There’s really risky things like Audrey Hepburn, where she wore this shorter dress that I thought was so cute,” she shared, adding, “But like Christina Aguilera’s dress — the shape of it was really beautiful.”
The truth is that she has found so many dresses that she likes that she is having more trouble narrowing down the list of her favorites to get to “the one.”
“I found a lot so now it’s just ‘How do I fit those bits and pieces from everyone else and make it so unique?’ and something of my own,” she added.
Kim also gave up scoop on her super high priced wedding registry, which includes an $8,000 vase. “That’s what you do for a wedding, you register — that was my pricey registry,” Kim said. “Then we did a lower-end registry and we still have one or two more registries to go.”
Kim insists that she is not like a crazy bridezilla who is stressing out and running around like crazy. “The thing about Kris and I is that we have one million percent trust. I’ve never been in such a trusting relationship before, Kim said, explaining, “For once in my life, I’m just calm, peaceful and happy.”
Sharon Sacks who is a well known Celebrity wedding planner told Entertainment Tonight more about the upcoming Kardashian wedding and she told hints that it will be even bigger than the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they wed last spring.
“Kim and Kris’s wedding will be the royal wedding of the century,” Sacks said. ” … because it’s Kim and Kris, they [viewers] live with Kim all the time and now they’re going to her wedding.”
Many people cannot wait to see the beautiful Kim Kardashian walk down the aisle. She no doubt will make the most beautiful bride!
