Darling’s Chrysler – All Mopar Car Show – People’s Choice Award Winner Announced

– Darling’s Chrysler Dodge Hyundai in Augusta, Maine is happy to announce that Cliff Adams is the winner of this year’s All Mopar Car Show People’s Choice Award. Cliff’s meticulously restored 1970 Plymouth Superbird garnered the most online votes and he will be presented with his award on Wednesday, November 10th at 2:30 PM. The prize for the people’s choice award for this year’s inaugural car show is a custom built, blue-flame Dodge hood with a flatscreen LCD TV mounted inside. The TV award was designed, crafted and assembled at Darling’s Collision Center, also in Augusta, Maine.
Darling’s All Mopar Car Show was held on September 11th at Darling’s Chrysler Dodge Hyundai, 439 Western avenue in Augusta, Maine. It was a beautiful day and the lot at Darling’s was filled with some of the finest Mopar restorations we’ve ever seen. All told, over 150 classic Chargers, Roadrunners, Superbirds, Superbees, Barracudas, trucks, wagons and more, took over the grounds in Augusta on what turned out to be a fantastic day. Participants in the show were treated to a live remote radio broadcast with DJ Don Brown and great food provided by Chef Charles Izzy, Jr. and the Capital Area Technical Center. Entry fee for participants was one, unopened toy to be donated to the United Bikers of Maine Toy Run, which was being held the next day. When the show was finished, the crew from Darling’s filled their parts truck with all of the toys that were collected and delivered them to United Bikers the next morning. The show was a huge success and we can’t wait to do it again next year. Thank you to all of the participants and everyone who voted for the People’s Choice winner.
